Privacy Policy

1. Introduction and scope

MIRODEV takes the protection of personal information seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect through mirodev.ca, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights. It was written with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, and applicable Canadian privacy legislation in mind.

It covers the MIRODEV corporate website and its three divisions: MIRODEV Construction (residential and commercial construction), MIRODEV Gestion (commercial cleaning, building maintenance and specialized services) and MIRODEV ONE, for inquiries about this software.

The MIRODEV ONE CRM application will have its own privacy policy governing information processed within the software. This policy does not cover that data.

2. Personal information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to send us: your name, email address, the division concerned, the content of your message and any other information you include. If you contact us by phone or email, we also receive the information you share, such as your phone number.

When the site is displayed, some technical data (for example, your IP address and browser type) is necessarily sent to the servers that host the site and its content. We do not use this data to identify or profile you.

3. How and why we collect it

Information is collected directly from you, through the contact form, by email or by phone. It is used solely to: respond to your request; prepare a quote or service proposal; contact you about the services of the division concerned; and follow up on your file.

We do not use it for any other purpose without your consent, unless permitted or required by law.

4. Consent and withdrawal of consent

By sending us your information, you consent to its use for the purposes described in this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@mirodev.ca. Withdrawing consent may, however, prevent us from following up on your request.

5. Contact forms and quote requests

The website form does not submit or store your inquiry through a website backend. When you click “Open email app”, the website requests that your email app open with a prepared message. It cannot confirm that the app opened or that the email was sent. You must review the message and send it yourself from your email app. If you choose to send it, your message reaches us by email, through your email provider and ours.

Requests concerning MIRODEV Construction, MIRODEV Gestion and MIRODEV ONE are received at the same address, info@mirodev.ca, and forwarded to the appropriate team within MIRODEV.

6. Cookies and website technologies

The following cookies and browser-storage items were observed on the published site:

• mirodev_lang: a cookie that remembers your language preference (French or English), lasting approximately 365 days. • __cf_bm: a cookie used by Cloudflare for bot protection and security, lasting approximately 30 minutes. • __dpl: a hosting/deployment-associated cookie, lasting approximately 24 hours. A more specific purpose has not been verified. • tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3: a session-storage item used to restore scroll positions during navigation, lasting for the browser-tab session.

Lovable Visitor analytics is disabled. No advertising pixels, social-media trackers, application-installed analytics or session recording were observed. This does not mean that the site or its providers process no technical information or create no technical logs.

You can manage cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Deleting or blocking them may affect language preferences, scroll-position restoration or some protection functions.

7. Third-party service providers

The following providers support the website and communications:

• Lovable: the hosting and deployment platform for the website and its content, including images and videos. • Cloudflare: infrastructure security and bot protection. • Google Fonts: delivery of the Jost and Manrope typefaces. • GoDaddy: MIRODEV’s business email service. We do not specify the underlying email platform or server location. • Your own email app and email provider: preparation and transmission of the email when you choose to send the prepared message.

Depending on their role, these providers may process technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, or information contained in emails. We do not sell or rent your personal information. Apart from the processing described in this policy, we do not share it with any other third party, except where required by law.

8. Storage and transfers outside Québec

The providers described in section 7 may process technical information or information contained in emails outside Québec, according to their infrastructure and policies. That information may then be subject to the laws of the jurisdictions concerned. This policy does not specify storage locations or retention periods for these providers because those details have not been verified.

9. Retention and secure disposal

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. When it is no longer required, it is securely disposed of or anonymized, subject to applicable legal obligations.

10. Security and confidentiality

Access to the personal information you send us is restricted to authorized individuals at MIRODEV who require it for their responsibilities. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the affected individuals and the Commission d’accès à l’information, as required by law.

11. Your rights

Subject to the exceptions provided by law, you may at any time: ask whether we hold information about you and access it; request that it be corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous; request that it be deleted or no longer disseminated; withdraw your consent; and obtain information about how it is used and shared.

12. Requests and complaints

Any request for access, correction or deletion, and any privacy complaint, may be sent in writing to our Person Responsible for the Protection of Personal Information (see section 13). We respond to access and correction requests within 30 days of receipt, subject to the exceptions provided by law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The current version is always posted on this page with its last updated date. Any significant change will be indicated on the site.
